A tiny, newborn puppy found itself stranded and crying in the tall grass of a front lawn. Hearing its distressed yelps, a white cat approached and gently picked the little pup up by the scruff of its neck. Acting as an unlikely guardian, the feline carried the puppy across the yard to a wooden doghouse, where a mother dog rested with the rest of her litter. After safely dropping the wayward pup back into the pile of its sleeping siblings, the cat sat down peacefully beside them, keeping a watchful and protective eye over the reunited family.
